| Question about gift giving. (Posted on 10/8/12 at 5:10 pm)
When it comes to buying gifts for your S/O what is the bigger occasion, a birthday or Christmas? Or do you spend about the same amount for each occasion?

Christmas. You are going to go broke with all the shite you buy. Birthday, you spend less, but you better put some fricking thought into that ONE gift.

Birthday is more important to me because it's the day for HIM. I can hardly even justify celebrating Christmas as it is considering my beliefs, so no reason for that to be the "big" occasion. Birthday means an over-the-top dinner, drinks, and a special gift. Christmas is just a gift.

Birthdays are a big deal for the ladies. Bigger than Christmas and Valentines (bull shite holiday anyway)day put together. Most consider it a birthday week and you better go all out planning activities on the actual birth day and plenty of "thought" in the gift. Quality over quantity.

We give for birthdays and our Anniversary. We don't buy each other Christmas gifts.

depends on the SO. You should probably ask her which she finds more important.

It is a no-win scenario. You'll either do too much or too little.

Mine's birthday is Dec 30, so it all runs together.
