When I see a guy with chicken legs walk in grab 45lb dumbells and commence to swinging them like kettle bells while doing what he thinks are "curls" it makes me chuckle and
I don't know if it would even make a difference if they lnew how to properly do a curl, or a lat pull or use the damn hammer machines. If MOST people do it one way, thats how people want to do it. It's accepted.
I have a friend who lives in another city who is a personal trainer (along with nutritionist, and alot of other things) and he only accepts female clients with out a referral because of this. He says men just don't want to listen and that the women, by in large, are much more receptive to proper form training because they don't have the ego in the gym and fear that they are being judged by how much weight they stack or grab.
