I would say it's a toss up between Mazen and Charley G's.

Thats kinda like asking which luxury car is better. They're all good depending on the driver's taste.

Charlie G's. No question. Best bang for the buck. I alway feel like I get what I pay for there, and then some.

I hear such good things about Jolie's Bistro, but have yet to try it.

Must include Jolie's in this discussion. Special occasion type of place. Really just a toss up among the ones mentioned.

my view is that if the food's not great then it's not a great restaurant. I didn't say it isn't a fun place to hang out because it can be, but for me it's more of a bar that happens to serve average food..........

Plus the cougars in the bar are nice or at least they were when I lived there.

I'm pretty fond of Village Cafe, I'm gonna have to give Charlie G's a shot.

Prejeans Restaurant is hard to beat, but Charley Gs, Jolie Bistro, Nash's are all very good..... Nash's in Broussard is in an old house but you get treated like you are in a 5 star
