I DID NOT contradict myself. He had 3 deferments for academic and 1 deferment for minister in france. ONE DRAFT he was eligible and was NOT drafted. THUS he was eligible for the draft and didnt dodge it.
So he only dodged the draft 4 out of 5 times, not 5 out of 5 times.

This is about draft dodging and there was no draft when Obama made 18.

How about Clinton?
Clinton dodged just like Romney did but he protested against the war, not for it.

You don't think Romney is a god? You don't want to increase spending? You think avoiding the war you supported is hypocritical? You must be an Obama lover rabble rabble...

WTF are you talking about?? HE NEVER dodged the draft! Do you have any fricking clue what you are talking about and what dodging the draft is? Do you know how many people went to college during Vietnam? They all dodged the draft?

No, it's apparently about hypocrisy. Obama supports and starts wars but never served.

Clinton dodged just like Romney
But you supported him? I'm glad he never started any unnecessary military interventions.

I'm glad you're honest. That's rare around here. And I understand that it's certainly not enough to make anyone want to vote for Obama. (which is why I won't vote for either)

I'm not talking "draft dodging" in a legal sense. I thought that was understood. Hell, Clinton was never charged with draft evasion for that matter and Muhammad Ali had his conviction unanimously overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. I'm talking about people who did things to avoid being put in harms way and going into combat in the war of their generation.

Mitt isn't perfect, but this is a stupid line of attack from Obama supporters.

How is it possibly hypocritical to be President, start a war, but to never have served in the military??? Will civilian Presidents never be able to start a war without being hypocrites? And can you not see how protesting in support of a war and then actively avoiding service in said war isn't actually hypocritical???

TK421, do you even know what hypocrisy means? FYI, it means preaching one thing and doing another, which Romney did and Clinton and Obama did not. Romney is the only one who supported a war at the same time he was seeking deferments from it.

So if you can't or don't serve in the war you can't support it?

How so? He supported a legal draft that he was legally exempt from for a time. You're reaching with this.

You really want to talk about all the foreign policy hypocrisy of the one?
