Nope, there is much more important things in life to deal with, than worrying about a foot game. This works out well because I like watching LSU play but whenb it is over, it is over...

1/9 hurt a bit, but that isn't your typical game.
I was disappointed after Saturday's loss, but shite happens and I moved on. If anything it means I can enjoy the games the rest of the season more because the stakes won't be as high.

It used to ruin my week when we lost if we weren't supposed to. Now I just expect to be let down with Miles so it isn't a shock. But I have a family now and after a loss it just reassures my feeling that LSU does nothing for me anymore. I pay money to them and get very little in return. It's just not worth it anymore.

nothing's going to happen until people around here start speaking with their wallets .. but they continue to whip out three different credit cards to see how much they can fit on each and buy season tickets like crazy .. then, they are shocked when they can't unload the bad non-conference game ones for even what they paid for them .. as long as this keeps going on and LSU keeps filling the coffers, it will be like this for a long long time ..

I am pissed during the game and for about 5 minutes after. Then who really cares what LSU just did.
I honestly don't see how some of the people on the rant function with so much hate in their hearts.

Occasionally they do get robbed by the ref though.

The term die hard fan is silly to me now. I have a giant room at my house dedicated to LSU memorabilia. I have 12 season tickets to football and 6 to baseball. But suddenly this year, around mid Jan, I quit caring about LSU like I used to. It used to be more fun. Maybe I'm growing up. Maybe I'm negative. Maybe I'm just real with myself and set priorities better.

Thirty years ago, when I was student at LSU and seemed to live for Saturday nights, the losses (and there were many) did ruin my weekend. These days, the infrequent losses are only a temporary distraction. However, I must admit that I loosen up my grip on the debit/credit cards with my wife and daughters after a big win!
