It's in-store, physical copy only, and a majority of them are already sold out. There also having this sale for BF3, MW3 and all other PC games they are selling (liquidating inventory)

I said it in my post. They are liquidating their inventory physical game copies are getting harder to sell (see music stores selling CDs and itunes). It's the same way with these businesses and digital copies now

Bought Diablo 3 digitally.
Last 2 game purchases, NHL '13 and NCAA '13, where both digital preorders also.
Will never buy another physical copy unless I have to.

That's my point. Digital copies are becoming far superior in every way! They're usually cheaper, more often on sale, easier to obtain, and don't have to hassle with CDs and DVD drives. The only problems digital copies see is Securom and it's drm policies

Exactly. Digital Downloads are for sure taking over. Look at Best Buy or Game Stop, both places, their software sections are shrinking.

This isn't even close to the case. Blizzard never drops the price of their games. Warcraft III Battle Chest is still $40.
