I've sort of known about Luxottica making a large number of eye wear and sunglasses brand but I had no clue how far reaching they were. Plus the chairman is an a-hole.
Even more reason to buy Costa Del Mar.

Yea I just watched that too and its ridiculous how many companies they own and how they blackballed Oakley

My dad works in the business, so I guess I've always known and taken it for granted.
Outside of Costa, almost everything he sells is Luxottica. It's a monopoly of the highest degree.
Also, Costa makes the best sunglasses. Those that think otherwise are wrong, frankly. Well, Maui Jims are pretty damn good too, so I guess that argument could be made. Other than those two though, it's a HUGE drop off.

He really did seem like a bad guy from a movie. He know how dumb Americans can be in regards to brands and doesn't care one bit to exploit it.
