Because democrats cannot afford cable because they are on welfare and unemployed. This is the only form of entertainment that they can give their 10 babies so they can sneak off and take a hit of crack in their bathroom while the children watch Big Bird for free on the free Government Television station

ETA: there's no multiplier effect with military spending. You build a tank, and that's it. When you build a computer, or a car, or a washing machine, jobs are created on down the line.

Boehner's district has a plant where tanks are maintained.
the pentagon has two tank maintenance plants and decided one was enough. they were going to shut Boehners down.
He has complained ever since. he wrote bills renewing the plant, spending money on something no one wants, except him.
