It is obvious that we have serious problems with protection schemes and routes against the blitz. It is my understanding that Harbaugh has designed an offense that can somewhat compensate for the blitz by always having a pre-called hot route for every pass play. Having a true tight end also helps with their ability to beat linebackers and have physical advantages over corners and safeties. Look him up Les; it couldn't hurt. What we are doing does not work.

Obviously, this type of work needs to be done in the off season. I also hope that we do not bulk up Desean Smith to 270 so he can block;we need to gete Dobard too if possible. We need tight ends that can run and catch.
