I was one of the ones 6 months ago that said there was no way that it would get below 8% by election time... I was really naive as to how far they would go to get below the mythical 8%

The US economy has to produce at least 200K jobs a month just to keep the employment rate steady.
Now perhaps one of our resident lefty's on TD can tell us how the UE rate has dropped a half percent in the last two months.

BLS "estimated" that almost 600k part-time workers actually want full-time jobs. Also, BLS "estimated" that almost 400k more people were employed than was actually reported. Plus, BLS "revised" the employment numbers for July and August.
As Barack would say - simple arithmetic.

Yes, this is what they do. This is what they did four years ago and this is what they did eight years ago. And they will do the same thing at any random point in the future. BLS is one of the most apolitical agencies that exist. Anytime y'all don't like the numbers or the message, then it was 'obviously manufactured'. Wow. Just wow.

Case in point, being told Bengazi was NOT a pre-planned terrorist attack, but a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video, and sticking with the story for over a week, despite knowing this was an outright lie.

If it is not, then please tell me how it was the biggest drop in unemployment in 29yrs when NONE of the weekly job numbers have been below 370k over the past few months and the jobs added numbers haven't even come close to the 250k to keep up with population growth???

I find it hard to believe there is not a single R in the BLS with access to the numbers who would not out such a ploy.
I don't know the number, don't know where the number comes from, or even want to. I do know that the opposition does have people who do & who would love to present a different number. Where are they?
