This is true but I've seen exceptions made. I'm not sure what the criteria is though. It's definitely not like it used to be where they would let multiple people on that asked.

That's the rumors right now. It would basically eliminate the Backlot Tour and Lights, Motors, Action. Along with that, they would be adding the red car trolley down Hollywood and Sunset Blvds and take down the Chinese theater facade and turn it into Carthay Circle. This would allow for removal of the hat. Also, the theater that houses Beauty and the Beast is supposedly going to close soon and be enclosed.

There is no way fans would let LMA get removed ( Mr Toads, 20k leagues, sarcasm ). The hat is an eyesore so no love lost from me or most people. You would finally be able to see the Chinese theater. B&tB could really use a refurb but I wonder why they would overhaul the theater unless they're considering adding more shows/show times.

can't see this affecting Test Track at all. The pavilion has a sponsor (GM) who just re-upped with Disney. And since the pavilion is closed right now for a complete overhaul and update, it's going to be a completely new experience that should keep the guests rolling in.

I know lots of new tech is being added to update the ride system and vehicles. It was more of me taking a shot at what happened to the Wonders of Life pavilion.

Personally, I'm not too fond of making Hollywood Studios into "California Adventure Light." I'd much rather see some other original concepts for the back of DHS.

Now that would be something. I like to think of myself as a Disney purist. That's why I have always disliked the hat.

The big plan is to add Carsland to be where LMA and to remove what's left of backlot tour.. Then to expand Pixar place and add a coster .. Supposed to be monsters inc door ride. BTB will be ending and be replaced with Tangled. Voyage of the little Mermaid will also be closing. They are trying to get all elements of BTB and LM into one park (MK).

DHS is the park that needs the most expansion and it looks as though it will be happening.

Sorry... The hat stays..

Glad ya'll are having a great time. Man, I miss the days when the kids were little and it was easy to do something like Disney all together. Now with one in college and one in high school and both having their own interests it's a whole different story.

But this thread has definitely given m the urge to get everybody together for a trip. Might have to give that a try.

Me too. Kids & wife voted for the darn beach this year. It's been a year since my last visit and two since a family vacation a WDW.

For Tallahassee, we stated at a Hampton Inn right off the interstate. I recommend it if you have little kids.

I just could not justify flying 2 adults and 3 kids such a short distance, but they could not make 8 hours in a car after being in school all day.

I DEFINITELY recommend the Halloween Party if you are here while it is going on.

Sounds just like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and I highly recommend it if anyone's there in November/December. Free cookies and hot chocolate, and practically zero wait times on all the rides. After the parade, they make it "snow" on Main Street.

Would do it again in a heartbeat!

One more thing... if you go to the Halloween Party with kids, most kids wear a costume. And, probably 80% of those costumes are Disney costumes. Our kids were so pumped that they didn't care, but FYI. If i had it to do over, we would have dressed them up.

We are doing the Halloween party next Friday night. My kids are pumped up and we are planning on dressing them up.

Glad y'all are having fun.

I was disappointed with the Christmas party at Magic Kingdom. The parade was great but I didn't feel like much else was done to justify the extra ticket expense. Now I've heard nothing but good things about the Halloween party. We're planning on going next year.

So much for wearing LSU gear at Disney next week.

Just wear some AU stuff. Everyone will feel so sorry for you that you might get a free pizza or something.

As for the Day 2 recap, it was more of a typical Saturday here. The crowd was VERY dense, but at least we were able to ride everything we wanted to. We bowled an excellent spare by hitting every ride we missed yesterday. Haunted Mansion, Small World, Thunder Mountain (x2), Splash Mountain (x2), Tom Sawyer's Island, the Carousel. Only thing we could not get to was the Peter Pan ride line was way too long.

I think that we are going to hit Animal Kingdom tomorrow for our last day. Any advice that anyone has there, please let me know.

Thanks, guys and gals. The wife and I have enjoyed keeping up with this thread while we are here.

Make sure u do everest and the safari early in the day ... The lines/fastpass get out of control fast... Get fastpass for one and wait for the other...

They have some great indoor shows ... A/C is always great... Nemo and lion king shows are very good.

Also add Kali river rapids and it's a bugs life to the list of must do's

Tusker house and rainforest cafe are the best places to eat in AK

Kali river rapids is great. Also, AK actually has a McDonalds if you're Jonesing for some fast food.

Thanks, folks. That solidifies the decision for AK. I have never been to that park before, so looking forward to it. And, my kids are such animal buffs that this will probably be perfect for us.

I love the "around the world" pub crawl at Epcot, but it probably would not look right on a Sunday with 3 kids in tow. Maybe if I worm some Auburn gear, everyone would understand.

Really appreciate all of the pointers. This thread has been a fun thing to keep up with while we have been here. Will give a final Day 3 recap tomorrow on AK.

Just went to animal kingdom 3 weeks ago. Wasn't that impressed but I think you and the kids will enjoy it though. Thought the Everest ride would be better but that tree of life is huge plus the bug life show under it is pretty awesome. Have fun

Thanks, man. I appreciate that. I was looking forward to the Everest trip, but my kids are so young that everything about Mt. Everest will be new and interesting.

I am looking forward to the Kilimanjaro Safari and the Kali River ride. My son is a dinosaur freak. Are any of those especially good?

The Dinosaur ride is good. Scares the crap out of some people. The kids will like Primeval Whirl.

Take your car into the park. Hotel shuttles suck balls.

For any of the people who said that they are headed here soon, this is solid advice.

I asked the valet at the hotel what he suggested and he said: "That depends, do you want to spend $14/day for parking?"

I told him "IDGAF about $14/day... I just don't want to be inconvenienced."

He said "Take your car." VERY GOOD ADVICE.
