It's a great series. I think either the suits just didn't get it or, more possibly, that they just didn't market it well enough. It should have been on a more mainstream network. I had never even heard of it until it had come and gone.

And I realize I'm not the first one to figure this out, but I like the "fusion" of genres. You've got western, sci-fi, and even naval Master and Commander stuff going on. Even the way they talk, they sound like the could be in the old west.

The whole gag reel from Serenity is hilarious.
My favorite part is around 4:50 when he walks into the desert courtyard thing and says random shite to each cast member.

eh... It's okay in my opinion. I didn't dig the whole space cowboy stuff. Thought it was pretty lame. I thought the plot was rather thin as well.
