I wonder if it has even occurred to them that they are airing a commercial that specifically shows their opponent saying " I'm not in favor of a five trillion dollar tax cut. That's not part of my plan."
They are literally giving Romney free air time on a winning issue. What's next? An ad showing Biden's speech saying "Yes we want to raise taxes by a trillion dollars."?
If you're undecided and see that ad who are you going to believe? A direct quote from Romney or a clip of Andrea Mitchell? This ad could very likely help Romney more than Obama.
It reeks of desperation.

It wasn't a debate. It was two minute blocks of Romney commercials with no fact check. He lied his arse off.
Initially, everyone was scratching their heads wondering why Obama didn't challenge all the bull shite. It turns out he didn't have to (and risk looking too "uppity," or angry). Today, all the media is asking the question. Once that dies down, Romney is still a liar.
To the undecided, think of the message electing Romney will send to Wall Street and CEOs?
Higher wages and jobs coming back to America? Sure.

What did he lie about?
That oil permits on federal land are down 50% under Obama? I guess that could be considered a lie since oil permits are actually only down 30%. Ooooh burn, you caught Romney in a lie.
That Obama didn't cut $716 in Medicare because he only reduced future spending and lowered payments to providers and physicians? I hate to break it to you but reducing future spending = cut in Washington and lowering payments also = cut.
Romney was wrong when he said that Obama doubled the yearly deficit, I'll give you that one as a lie.
Did Romney lie about not having a 5 trillion dollar tax cut? Because, Obama's deputy campaign manager admitted on CNN that Romney doesn't have a $5 trillion tax cut.
So what are the lies. Please, tell me.

This is my 1st post on the debate,all I can say is I'm still stunned that Obama,the sittingPOTUS looked like a complete idiot. Is this guy really running this country? My god it says so much about America when this idiot gets voted in .

Initially, I thought he looked tired, and said so. Many in Dem land wanted a knock down drag out offensive. That's natural.
Obama thinks long game, though. Team Obama decided to pull back and not risk losing precious undecided who get turned off when pigs wrestle in the mud. We'll see how it works out.
In the meantime, what are we're hearing as a result? "Why didn't Obama stand up to all the lies?" Why risk looking angry or desperate doing what all the world is doing for him?
