Right, I'll wait while you demonstrate this "certain degree" as a standard by which any given person can be judged. How is grief quantified and calculated? I'm sure you have a peer-reviewed methodology ready to share.
If you need me to be even more condescending, I think I might be able to muster it.

Ah, good ole' intuition. And what grounds do I have to submit to the authority of your intuition, or anyone's?
Your intuition would have to be confirmed as sound by another party, and then that party's intuition about your intuition would also need to be confirmed, and so on into infinite regress.
How about we leave "hints" and "gut feelings" to the initial investigative proceedings and keep them out of determinations of guilt.

Whatthe frick are you talking about? I wasnt talking about the specific case in the op i was talking about in general.
Its essentially emotional profiling. Its an investigative technique taught to police the world over. The fbi has seminars on it.
I tell you this as a retired mp who was trained d in exactly this . Its one of the techniques the secret sevice uses to protect the president. Actually they are quite spectacular at knowing how the human body reacts when a person is lying.
It iant a gut feeling. Its a science of understanding that as different as each human is in many ways, in many others we are all alike ie we basically react the same under certain conditions.
