What are the key issues you're looking to be addressed over the next four years, and who do you think is going to do the better job, Kip or Mike? For me, crime has to be #1 on the agenda. Also quite important is our sewer system. Another serious issue for me is the general trashiness and constant state of disrepair I think is found all over this place from horrific code enforcement to missing guard rails, fences falling down that are being taken over by mother nature and a lack of concern to graffiti, filthy overpasses, buildings in need of being demolished all over the place, especially along Choctaw, Plank and downtown in general, litter, grass not getting cut or edged, and basically a general oblivious attitude toward appearance in general. Then I'd say roads and lights that make it a living nightmare to traverse this city at times throughout the day. Sidewalks being at a minimum, and public transit that nobody would ever want to use unless they absolutely had to because it is not condusive to going anywhere, which sums up my attituude toward a high speed rail between BR and NOLA being of no use whatsoever if you can't get people around the city once they get here. So, who is the right guy for the job, and what are the issues you would like to see get resolved or at least addressed?

Crime and Taxes. Kip has never met a tax he hasn't liked. He is wondering why people are moving away from Baton Rouge, it is because of those two things.

People moving away are a good sign for Kip. That is making reelection easier because the ones moving away didn't vote for him last time.

Doesn't matter who gets elected. None of those problems you mentioned will ever get addressed. Our city is a shithole and always will be.

Probably because the city is lacking decent schools and infrastructure.
