It's not dumb. He is a poor game manager. See bringing in Holland in a high leverage spot over Koji or Ross. The players go hard for him, but he's crappy under the gun. That being said, the Rangers can't fire him after two World Series and another playoff appearance. Maybe if he starts next year by wetting the bed...

Yeah, lots of injuries this year as well. He comes back for another season, possibly with the expectation of rebuilding after letting Hamilton walk.
