Why does baseball still have umpires in the traditional sense? (Posted on 10/5/12 at 7:26 pm)
There isn't one solid argument to let them still call balls and strikes.
Yes the call from the IF fly rule bull shite got me thinking on this, but far too many umpires have an ego the size of fricking Texas and make the game about them.
We have technology and replays to determine balls and strikes.
Also, why is it when an umpire knows he fricked up and is wrong, they never change their call. That ump knew he fricked up.
