Doing squats. The weird thing was, it hurt a little at the time, but didn't seem like a big deal. Then 3-4 days later, I couldn't walk.I guess the swelling held everything together at first.
Now that's the kind of quad injury I've heard of before. I still have a lifting injury from 30 years ago. It's in my right wrist.
John wanted to try and squat 500. He got me to spot on one side and another guy to spot the opposite. As soon as we lifted him off he yelled "TAKE IT"...and backed out. That left 250 pounds on my wrist. To this day I have to take my left hand and crack my right wrist back 5 times a day in order to write or type on a computer.
In fact. I cracked it while writing this post.
Reminds me of my basic philosophy of happiness:
"Happiness is the sum total all of the horrible things that could have happened to you.... but didn't."
