I really don't understand why they aren't doing that. I feel like that franchise is slowly dying, and a next-gen remake would A.) Sell a TON of copies and B.) Bring some new life to that franchise

it isn't about understanding, it's about accepting the fact that the rumor is a rumor and stupid to hold onto, ESPECIALLY after they said they would NOT be doing it. 
That being said, I do not like VII, the game is retarded.

Even though they made a new one, I don't count it since it was pure garbage
...so a rumor that has been around since I was a kid is that they will remake/make another duke nukem.... That is good

Earthbound 64 (I guess this one was partially true)
I also remember arguing at kids in school that said you could get into the Space Shuttle on the Aztec level in Goldeneye.

I was under the impression the power glove was gonna be more like the current wii controller where you could move your hand around and it would do stuff.
