I think Paste has become a pretty respected music source nationwide over the past 5-10 years. And when they went strictly online, I think that probably widened their base even more.
Fun fact - I live less than a mile from their offices when they were in print and almost bought one of their computers when they were selling everything in their office. I did pick up a couple cd's though.

I had no idea it was an Atlanta thing. I don't think its big, but I've always thought it was just an online mag that covered more "roots" based indie rock. Which is pretty much my tastes now. I think it's a less pretentious Pitchfork.

You're right walt. They don't suck. They are talented musicians. But their music is redundant. Hard to tell one song from the next. They should be more diverse and creative considering the musical ability they have. Just mho
