Im more of a 70's Saturday morning guy but I did check some of those out in the early 80's or if I was on a wake and bake kick in college the very sad thing to me is: there are no cartoons on Saturday mornings anymore You can't find a real Bugs cartoon to save your soul...I guess it was too "mean"? seriously

Cartoon Network shows Looney Tunes at 11 every morning followed by Tom and Jerry. They have some decent stuff on Saturday and Sunday morning too. I kinda like Ben 10.

I watch the 8am CNT West feed I really meant over the air free Bugs Bunny, plus they seem "edited" I just feel a whole generation is losing a piece o Americana that cannot be replaced and yes I feel that serious about Bugs and gang

A lot of the old Looney Tunes stuff is considered too racist now. Speedy Gonzalez is banned from tv for it. I guess the non stop violence is ok though.

The funny thing is that Speedy Gonzalez is super popular in Mexico, and is on all the time down there.

Hell Yeah!! Star Blazers and G Force! I watched them religiously. The Herculoids SpiderMan Justice League Scooby Doo (I hated it when they put Scrappy Doo on there) Dungeons and Dragons Not a cartoon, but another one I watched every time it came on, Land of the Lost. Muppet Babies Shirt Tales Kwiky Koala Grape Ape The Smurfs The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show Don't have cool cartoons like that now. Every thing is computer generated.

You mean Battle of the Planets? I loved that one, too... and completely forgot about it until you mentioned it. Does anybody remember The New Zoo Review?

Was it Battle of the Planets? I was like 5 or 6 when it was on so I very well could have the name wrong. I remember they all had a G on their belt buckles. I had forgotten about the fat one. I liked the guy that had the blue hawklike glass piece that went over his face.

Yeah... The team was G-Force, the show was Battle of the Planets (although they may have changed it later airings). I'm in my 30s and can still sing the entire Star Blazers theme song. ETA: This show was waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of its time by American standards.

Oh ok. I had a die cast submarine or battleship toy from Star Blazers. As soon as I saw the picture, I recognized it.

The first thing I ever drew (that my parents happened to keep) was cookies for Santa... the second was the Argo.
