I think any reasonable person is beginning to see the writing on the wall relative to this country as compared to what it once was on the international stage, and as to why people all over the globe uprooted their families and gave up everything to seek the American Dream.
Liberals blame conservatives (and Bush), and conservatives blame liberals.
In your opinion, name the top three liberal or conservative policies that have caused the decline of this nation.

By the way, I think the far left embracing that there is nothing wrong with a single parent household has played a large role in (1) government dependence; and (2) lack of character and work ethic.

2) All the policies that encourage single motherhood
3) All the Anti-religion policies particularly those in the guise of separation of Church and State

Whatever policy destroyed the family unit. I say the biggest being the destruction of "in God we trust". Its so funny that somthing about god is written on every major goverment building in DC ,but yet our government today sees fit to say God has no place in government. Yeah and how is that working out for you America?

Good ones. I'd push Great Society down and put whatever laws resulted from the Hayne-Webster debate (not sure what they're called) that gave precedence to the national government having power over the states.

DA and Bob Dylan think alike. Dylan recently stated the slavery was essentially the inescapable sin that doomed the country from the beginning.
I tend to agree that it caused issues that will never be overcome. That being said, racism runs rampant in Europe, particularly in the UK and Frace, as well.
I suppose the difference is the wounds of slavery in the US and the countering overreach of AAs in some cases in using slavery and conversely racism, as both excuse and weapon relative to life situation or position.

New Deal
Reversal/removal of Glass Stegall Act Under Clinton
Failure of Democrat Committee (Barney Frank) under GW Bush admin to address the coming problems with Banks holding bad paper/mortgages.
(Both R's and D's get the blame on that one IMO)
