Where to get new tires installed in New Orleans?

I bought some new tires from Discount Tire Direct this week and I'm looking for a place to get them installed. Does it really matter where I go? Their website has "qualified installers" listed and it's mainly Tire Kingdom. Is it fine if I go there? I'm also going to get a wheel alignment.

Can i ask a serious question?

why do people do this? Are yall really saving any money?

i mean let me compare.

let's say a few pretty standard sized tires in a couple of popular brands.

2256016 BFG advantage t/a

at discount tire. they are $114 each.

i can buy them thrhough my supplier for $109 each, and i sell them for $141 each mounted and balanced.

2755520 hankook ventus st

discount tire price $153 each
through my supplier $140 each , i sell them for $197 mounted and balanced

lt2657516 michelin ltx ms/2

discount tire price $224 each
through my supplier $212 each i sell them for $275 mounted and balanced.

okay that's enough examples to get my point across.

now bear in mind that in order to mount and balance these tires properly i have a $5000 ranger tilt back touch less mounting machine guaranteed not to scratch your wheels, a $3500 ranger digital roadforce balancer to get that perfect balance and a $500 kti tire pressure monitor reset tool to make sure the light isn't going to light up.

also, i include a free four front or four wheel alignment with the purchase of 4 new tires, that entails having a $10k lift as well as a camber gauge and tape measure , we do alignments old school.

not to mention the labor to actually do the work.
so essentially i am making between $30-50 per tire which includes mounting, balancing, and alignment. i charge $20-30 a tire for mounting and balancing if a customer brings in their own tires. plus $38 for a front alignment or $70 for a four wheel alignment if needed. so where is the savings?

do shops down there charge that much more for tires?
