Simsboro, La 62 degrees Slight wind out of the south Box stand on the ground on the edge of a 3 year old cutover. This is the first hunt of the year. Feels great to be back in the stand. Seen nothing but squirrels thus far, but my brother had 2 grey foxes eating out of his corn pile.

28 years ago today the doctors at umc in jackson split my chest wide open and cut out a piece of my heart. my aunt calls it my second birthday and is the first to remind me of it every year.
