My 9-yr old son has hit more than me in my entire career. Little bastard even hit two in this year's Elite-32, while pitching a complete game shutout 
By the way, seeing your child succeed is 100x more rewarding than individual success.

I hit several out in little league. But only inside-the-park homers in pony league.

Sixth grade little league baseball. I hit the only three my team had all season with two in one game. Probably the apex of my athletic career except maybe a few interceptions in high school football.

Closest in a game was about 10 ft foul, and hit the fence a couple times. Could launch them when my dad and a couple others would take us out on Sunday afternoons for bp, but never hit one in a game. This was little league, btw.

I hit a game winning homerun in high school to put my team in the playoffs. It was my 2nd of the day and I was only a Soph. I hit about 10 or so in my lifetime.

I hit 14 my junior year and 12 my senior year.
Then hit seven my first year of juco.

<------ 8 my senior year. Just happened to make all state also. 15 in my life including 2 grand slams

All kidding aside, before I hit any I was 11 in teh 11-12 year old ybbr league and 11 year old teams never hit homeruns. We were playing this team and I came up to bat with the bases loaded. Pitch was right down the middle and I crushed it to dead center, I coulda sworn it was gone so I started to do the Sammy Sosa hop (he was my favorite player back in the day) to first base.
Damn ball hits the top of the fence and goes back into play. I ended up with a frickin single

All three I hit were in park ball, one I was playing at Joe Brown park and the other two were at Milne park. I was playing for Kenilworth at the time. Didnt hit any in highschool.

Senior year of high school. The whole team was in shock along with myself. I got pummeled at home plate.

i played baseball my whole life through HS and never hit one until my senior year. I started but games where a right hander pitched I would get DHed for(I sucked ). We were up big on a team and I got in and hit one. It was an all black school that sucked so nothing to brag about.
I do get to frick with my best friend though. He hit 12 our junior year but only 1 our senior year. Went on to pitch in the White sox organization and was throwing upper 90s before messing up his shoulder. Anyways I always frick with him, asking how many home runs he hit our senior year and how many did i hit again? gets him pissed every time.

When I was very little I probably hit 10 to 20 a season. Played two seasons a year (Spring/Summer and Late Summer/Fall). So, between the ages of 7 and 12 I probably hit close to a hundred or so. Then my coach started to change my swing and I never really got my power back. Occasionally put one over between 12 and 18. Maybe another 15 or 20 times. But yeah, as a little kid I crushed. And I didn't play on some weak arse Little League field. USSSA ball.

Woodlawn hero hit 3 Grand Slams for the Purple Panthers in one game back in the late 80's. Was a national record for long as I know. Im sure the OT will either confirm or deny. Strong work.
