Yeah...damn. That's what I was hoping wasn't the case. With DVDs, it's so easy (and cheap) to buy used ones that are "like new" or "very good." They're all guaranteed to play, so there's really not much use in buying new ones, although I do buy those on rare occasion.
Being that I only buy other things here and there from Amazon, it looks like Prime isn't the way to go for me. Preciate all the info from everyone though,

I see no advantage for movies, with maybe a couple of exceptions. But in my example, I could get the DVD in really good condition for almost half the cost than if I used Prime. Aside from it coming faster (which is fairly negligible for me), I see no advantage.
Obviously I see an advantage on other items and in other situations, but not for mine. I'm not dogging Amazon Prime as much as realizing that it looks like it's not for me.

I thought he might have meant he would settle for used and longer delivery since the extra money didn't seem worth it. Didnt know he just did used movies.
I get though that it isn't for everyone.

Btw, saved by the bell thread on the 1st page. What's you thoughts on the zack/Lisa relationship never taking off. I feel shorted on that story line.

Didn't know about the free Kindle book. I get any book I want for free? Also, how good is their streaming selection. I only use the Prime for the free shipping, never done it for movies.

Well, they dated for like three years IRL while on the show, so maybe that's why..
And is it a SBTB thread? I thought it was more a Lark Voorhies thread, so I didn't read it.

The Prime content is not as good as Netflix, but it's decent. You can rent/buy new releases and stream them, which is clutch.

haha speaking of st joes. I've never been but the maintenance guy that fixed my ac is a bartender there. he said he would get me free drinks. i need to check it out soon.
