correct if there are no vast policy changes. I see some noise that the D's are opposing shipping natural gas overseas.

and why were they able to raise taxes...even Obama and Clinton agree that raising taxes in a struggling economy is a dumb idea. they were able to raise them because they had an economic boom. The tax increase didnt create the economic boom, nor did it have nearly the same measurable effect of the dotcom bubble.

The way I see things are this: Both sides can claim what they want, but here are the simple facts: GDP grew 1.3% last quarter. That is terrible. Unemployment is at 8.1% (it's actually much higher; if you include "discouraged workers" it's probably 15-20%) Labor participation rate is the worst in the history of this country. 30% of people are on some form of government assistance. Our national debt has gone from $10.5 trillion to $16 trillion and counting. We haven't had a budget in three years. These are facts. They are indisputable facts.

it's a,lie because thinkprogress says it is? how about actual facts.
quote:
Romney’s plan to shift the country to a territorial tax system would allow corporations to do business and make profits overseas without ever being taxed on it in the United States. This encourages American companies to invest abroad and could cost the country up to 800,000 jobs.
Do they have links to any of this stuff, or are they just posting talking points? limiting the tax on money will allow it to flow back, even Tiger Au 83 agrees.

Here is how Romney’s Medicare plan will affect current seniors:
He specifically his plan excludes current seniors. Bull shite talking point. These are all just lies...no facts, no links, no references...nothing but talking points. the best part is mouth breathers like hugo think they're "facts"

A reminder for you bloviators in this thread...the only facts that matter are the ones listed a few posts up. Can't spin those either way. They are indisputable facts.

Yes, but the facts you presented have nothing to do with the question and objective of the OP which is...

Again, I don't like Obama, at all. However, Romney is full of shite sometimes too.

funny how you ignore a vast majority of the points, especially the ones that are straight out obvious lies. even funnier, your minimal attacks are wrong, too.
quote:
has actually proposed. ------------------------------------------------ it's a,lie because thinkprogress says it is? how about actual facts.
the actual fact is that Romney cited a report that didn't analyze Obama's actual proposal, hence it was a lie to say the study showed job loss due to obama's proposals. how is that not a lie?
quote:
Do they have links to any of this stuff, or are they just posting talking points
they do have links. click on the thinkprogress article. see the underlined words? those are links!
quote:
He specifically his plan excludes current seniors. Bull shite talking point.
do you know how much medicaid is spent on nursing homes? and Romney's plan would cut medicaid by up to 44%. so, yes, that is a major affect on current seniors.
quote:
These are all just lies...no facts, no links, no references...nothing but talking points.
attack two (edit: actually i guess 3 of the 20 or so) and give up, huh? and don't even disprove them? there are links in almost every single one of the arguments. you apparently didn't look.
quote:
the best part is mouth breathers like hugo think they're "facts"
and mouth-breathers like you will derp along stating things aren't "facts" (despite there being actual links with proof), and do so without offering a single fact or argument yourself beyond useless name calling. i don't think i've ever seen you engage in meaningful debate (i.e. an actual respectful exchange of ideas) on here. kudos, at least you're consistent with your trolling.

I got bored with reading someone's opinion as fact. They offered no information, no links, no studies...NOTHING. Just stating something without references or facts doesnt make it true. Why didn't they reference the study, point out the flaws? It's ridiculous.

An example of what they call a lie. “Right now, the CBO says up to 20 million people will lose their insurance as Obamacare goes into effect next year. And likewise, a study by McKinsey and Company of American businesses said 30 percent of them are anticipating dropping people from coverage.” Why do they say it's a lie. Affordable Care Act would actually expand health care coverage to 30 million Americans, despite Romney fear mongering. Notice they conflate insurance and coverage. Romney's assessment is correct. People will lose their insurance.

8) “Mr. President, all of the increase in natural gas and oil has happened on private land, not on government land. On government land, your administration has cut the number of permits and licenses in half.” Oil production from federal lands is higher, not lower: Production from federal lands is up slightly in 2011 when compared to 2007. And the oil and gas industry is sitting on 7,000 approved permits to drill, that it hasn’t begun exploring or developing. ---------------------------------------------------- I would rate it as a half truth 2007 ~3500 leases 2008 ~2400 2009 ~2100 2010 ~1500 2011 ~2050 LINK
am i missing something? what you list is the number of new leases issued. the fact that new leases are in fact issued shows the number of permits and licenses is increasing each year. Total number of leases in effect FY2007 - 48,933 FY2011 - 49,173 Producing leases on federal land FY2007 - 21,680 FY2011 - 22,682
