Do they still have the option for teams to pick up the third year of a rookie contract?
quote:I thought the same thing. With EVERYTHING having to be purchased with this stuff, not to mention how expensive most of it is, I figured a successful player would get at least 5,000 VC a year. But to average 20 points per game for three years and get the same contract you got as a rookie is ridiculous.
I know that VC is so hard to come by, I'm kind of surprised at how they low-balled you
quote:I tried tanking late in my second season to get out of Portland. Didn't work. They sucked so bad they picked up the contract on a guy averaging 11 ppg lol. After they did that I finally just demanded a trade and got sent to Dallas for OJ Mayo.
I might as well tank for two seasons so they don't pick up my option and sign with a good team my third year if I get the same contract
