The legend camps are awesome. In addition to some move tutorials you get + 2 and + 3 for the involved attributes. Definitely more economical for the 200 to the 300 VC ones.

I've been playing the 2k franchise for 5+ years now and I actually am not a fan of the changes they made.
Played a 1v1 with a guy online that literally did 30 alley oops including 7-9 alley oop back to yourself off the backboard back to Carmelo.
Atrocious.
Pump faking is ridiculous hard in this one too with the shot stick.

I have a PS3.
And tapping the shot button isn't going to help. I'm talking about the pump fake you could do in 2k12 by quickly tapping the shot stick on a layup attempt. I mastered this shot unfortunately.
The game does look great though and seems much smoother. Hope I can get used to it.

Is there any way to change the rookie showcase from 8 to 12 minute quarters? I went 15th to the 76ers and had like 16 points and a decent line

I had a solid stat line but I went 21st to the Celtics because I told all my interviewers to frick off in an attempt to be drafted 10th by the Hornets.

What position are yall going with? I went 5th to Sacramento as a scoring PG. Too bad they have Aaron Brooks, Fredette, and Robinson already. Drafting 5th to get another PG, thats actually close to how real franchises act

I picked a slashing SF. I want to build my guy to be like a Rudy Gay. I already had over 7,000 VC from playing a lot of online ranked matches and team ups, so I was able to upgrade my skills a lot.
Anyone know how I could request a trade to the Hornets?

I've gotten a chance to really upgrade my player. I've been playing the shite out of MyPlayer Blacktop. It's so addicting. They really need to fix the connection issues, though. I have 17 losses and only about 4 of them are legit. So in reality I'm 27-4.
Anywho, upgrading my on-ball defense seemed to help with the lateral speed issue on defense. Defensive awareness seemed to help, too. This game gets REALLY fun when your player starts getting really good. I'm at about a 95 overall right now with lvl 1 finisher, lvl 3 ankle breaker, lvl 1 chasedown artist, and lvl 1 pickpocket. Starting to finally be able to take over games and change the tide when shite hits the fan.
Also, I FINALLY GOT DALLAS TO TRADE COLLISON! They traded him for Shumpert and a scrub PF. So we've actually got a legit SG with me running point now. We couldn't get any kind of groove because coach would swap us at point all the damn time. Now I'm full-time PG and we've won 11 in a row. Shit's getting real.

I am now a starter for the Hornets at PG.
We are 9-10 right now though

Which did you choose? I went with Jordan. Also, do the announcers say your name? They will say it during the lineup but then call me by some stupid nickname the rest of the time.
