I remember someone on here was harping about only having sold 300,000-400,000 retail copies and how sales were down. Not so much

agreed - so far i think they did well to atone for cata.
im actually glad they did well with this one, cause if it had been another cata style expansion, the game would have pretty much died.

As it is now, you have to play alot to get solid gear.. which is how it should be imo.

agree 1000% - i MUCH prefer working for what I get rather than just doing what I did in Cata.
i also like the fact that as a Mage, they have made us squishy again.

Dinged 90 yesterday, and have put in the shitton of work day today that I planned. Got up to a 452 ilevel. Not bad - ran all the heroics one by one - easy to do as a tank because I can watch the videos of the instances then instant que.
Running into problems with gems and chants in the AH already - not a lot of people on my server have the tanking gems yet and it's driving me nuts when a douchey l33t a-hole points that out to groups.
Should be ready to start the LFR system when either next week or the week after.

i've run a ton of hard modes and haven't crap. it's all plate armour.
and now my raid spot is in question because there's another guy has awesome gear just due to pure lucky drops.

Downed the first two raid bosses and got the third to 25% this week. Not bad considering I was we're wearing mostly blues. Also killed both world bosses this week and finished Pandaria loremaster. Hate...I mean hate the daily quest rep grind. Missed a few days of playing and am now behind my other guildies a bit. What's worse is having to build two sets (ret and holy). My toon...

So basically you have to farm rep to use jp vendor for the particular factions correct? I am just making sure I am reading it all correctly. I havent really started my rep grind yet, too much RL shite going on.

Yeah I'm behind on a lot of stuff right now as well. Only at 459 on gear, guild is firing up the raid this weekend and I'm not ready for it at all. Stupid job with stupid commuting...

The grind is for Valor. Justice only buys ilvl 458 blues.

The grind is definitely more than I expected it to be (dailies). Still queueing for heroics as dps b/c my tanking gear isn't legit yet.
