re: Romney won Style, Obama won Substance

He is talking about the fact that costs incurred in closing the factory (like all freaking business costs) are considered deductible. Hence he concludes it is a tax break. Yeah, this is some solid substance

Gotta laugh at that. Wow a legit business expense is deductible. Breaking news. Major tax break.

At least I know I am not missing anything I should be aware of now.

Unfortunately, as Romney aptly pointed out, "but you've been president for FOUR years."

I was waiting for that line for a while. During the first part of the debate, Odummy's favorite "word" was "WANNA," as in, "We wanna do this," and "We wanna do that."

And, Romney finally got him. I would have phrased it a little differently -- something along the lines of, "Wait, you had TWO years where you could have done ANYTHING you wanted. You controlled the Congress and the Presidency. You didn't do a damn thing about the economy and, more importantly JOBS. And, now you're going to tell us all the things you WANNA do in the future?"

. Just stating his tax plan is balanced with cuts and revenue increases was sufficient in all honesty.
Tax plan? What tax plan? He's had four years... how balanced with cuts and revenues are his budget proposals? Oh... wait... they're so unserious they have yet to receive a single vote... you think he's suddenly going to get serious in years 5,6,7,8 as a lame duck?

Has he not consistently disagreed with this assertion?

You have said he has done a 180 after 15 times. What is the 180. He said the same thing yesterday as he always has.

You disagreeing does not equal a 180. Sorry that his presentation took the knees out of your boy.

There was no winner in the "substance" category.

I go with winner by default as I believe Romney backtracked on a plan that had little substance to begin with.

Not sure. But every analysis of his plan I have seen project a net benefit to the wealthy no matter specifics are lacking.

I can only conclude that you must be all in for Obama. Obama has not substance relative to business/the economy because he has never managed a business in his life. In 2008, voters basically elected a man who was not qualified to be POTUS.

Luckily, Obama showed us in 2008 that style matters more than substance. Thanks for the analysis.

OK, so you are not sure what his formal position was before, but you are concluding he did a 180 (eventhough you dont know what his formal position was). Seriously, that is what you are saying right?

Oh analysts disagree.... OK then, I guess people disagreeing is a 180
