Rope drop every morning, go back to the hotel after lunch, then back to the park in the evening for the fireworks. They will get burned out if you try to stay the whole day without a break. You don't need a park hopper pass unless you plan on going to a different park in the evening.

Oh so not a Disney Resort. I've never stayed off property so I don't know if they do that parkhopper passes there and if they don't you should be able to ask. I highly recommend getting those hoppers. You won't regret it and they last a long time. Say if you don't go to as many parks as you planned, you can reuse them years later. Or at least that's been the case in the past.
Like others have said get there when they open. I'm sure your kids won't have to be pried out of bed early on this trip. They'll wear themselves out then take a nap in the early afternoon, and back at it at night.
Other than that, enjoy your time there. I'm 23 and I love Disney, it's one of my favorite memories as a kid.

Thanks. Yeah, I was planning to get the 1-park; 1-day tix bc I doubt we will bounce between different parks.

Thanks, gatorhata9. I am using my Hilton Honor points for the room, so I had to stay at a Hilton-owned hotel.
Good advice on breaking the park visits into morning and afternoon. The hotel pool will probably be a perfect place to let this kids relax for a while.

Hugo - what was the weather like in february? We're going next feb with our 3 kids (5, 2, and 23 mths). We're wondering if it'll be warm enough to get the water park tickets.

Yeah I found when bringing little one's it's easy to do one park a day when they get 8 and above then the hopper is the way to go

The most important tip for people with young kids.
Do NOT overdo it. Build breaks into your day. One of, if not all, of your kids will have a meltdown if you do not.
Give them a couple of hours in the afternoon to chill in the hotel pool or watch cartoons. Overstimulation = BAD at Disney.

We have been twice in February. The first time was during Mardi gras. This was before kids, so it was really nice not crowded. The weather was cool. I personally wouldn't have went swimming. We wore jeans during the day with light jackets at night. This february it was Mardi gras and presidents week at the same time. It was very crowded the first few days of the week. The temps that week fluctuated. The first day we wore jeans, after that it was shorts and t-shirts. The weather there is like Louisiana, I can change daily.
I have never been this time if year, but crowds should be light. Most rides won't have long waits. I would definabltly use fast pass at rides like toy story mania and soarin. I also think rope drop is best. If your kids are like mine you will want to do toy story mania more than once. We went there first thing, got fast passes and then got in line. We were able to do a few other rides and then use the fast pass.
I have seen a lot of people on here say don't take the kids that young, but that was my most fun trip yet. Can't wait to go back next year!
