What other things could be in Purgatory. Yellow eyed demon? Lilith? etc. They have a lot of potential with these flashbacks.

Pretty much everything they have killed since episode 1. They have a big opportunity to bring back old evils in the flash backs.

It looks really good so far. Much better than the shitfest that was season 7. I'm glad they are back and kicking some ass....well, Dean at least.

I do not think demons go to purgatory when they die. That would mean angels would go there too. Purgatory is not for angels and demons. I think it is for creatures that are without souls. I could be wrong but I'm not.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at.
Demons go to Hell, Angels to Heaven.. anything else not human - purgatory.
Reminds me of the Darksiders series, the Heavens were for the Angels, and Hell was for the Hellguard (demons and their ilk).. and then there was another realm controlled by the charred counsel and the horsemen.. something like that.
