me and a buddy heading to the game Sunday and he wants to get a good authentic New Orleans Po Boy...any suggestions???

Well...where will you be. Near the Dome there is not a whole lot. If willing to go anywhere in the city: Parkway Bakery and Tavern Mahoney's Domilise's In that order, are some good choices. Do not go to Mother's. Anyone who tells you to go there is an idiot and/or tourist.

frick mannings. There's plenty if better food in the area. Ernst cafe, harrahs buffet, lucys, a gas station, the gutter... As for poboys, depends on where you are. Perrans and parkway are two of the best.

Johnny's poboys in the quarter. Some of the best poboys in the city. 511 Saint Louis St- a few blocks away from Jackson square.
