does anybody know why we haven't offered this guy yet. on all of the recruiting sites it says that frank wilson is recruiting him but doesn't have an offer from us. thought one of y'all would have the inside scoop on why no offer

When he first came on the radar over a year ago...I wanted him simply bc he goes to my old high school (McDonogh #35).
I dont have a clue why we never officially offered him. I am going to assume we had too many other players higher than him on the board. I just hope he doesnt end up at bama

from the looks of the bama chatter on 247 they will not have room for him, but who knows...he will probably end up at utah imo

We haven't offered because we don't feel like he's as good as the the two guards we currently have committed. And we don't see him as a tackle in college.
Bama has already turned away his commitment at least twice and it's not very likely they accept it later.

he was big early, so from his first few years of high school he projected to be a high ranking player. other people caught up to him, and he never shed his bad weigh, so he never shot up the ranking. dude has serious moobs

He's had a strange journey with Bama. It's never been a secret that he wants to be at Bama but they just won't take him. The 1st time was because it was too early. The last time was after he was told he was in at the June camp. That's not speculation, that came straight from people that know the ins and outs of Bama recruiting. It appears that Tunsil is the key. If Bama lands him, as many expect, then KSM is likely out unless they have a spot and want to use it. If they miss on Tunsil then he may slide in assuming they don't land another OL guy.
He does have a ton of bad weight. Check out some pictures of him and you'll see that he looks very sloppy. That can be cleaned up but schools likely wanted to see him take it upon himself to do it, similar to the job that Edinburgh did last year while trying to earn that LSU offer.
