Does it seem like that coach behind the ref pushed his way to the front and deliberately placed his foot and body in between the ref and the marker to obstruct the view of the ref and the marker?

Seems counter-productive. If the official can't see the 1st down marker, how does he know where to spot the ball?

Pretty sure that was Ritter, the bug-eyed ref. I know I saw him on tv Saturday, but I can't recall which game. I could be wrong, but I don't think it was Ole Miss-Bama.
