what would it look like if we shrunk down to 10 teams? is there even a strategy for that?

I do not blame you. I would assume only the bottom feeders without a great pick set would want a redraft. However, there is no fair way to let those players into the draft.
The other possibility is that you lock all of those players for one season, but then everyone just plays for draft picks.
ETA: Redrafting would definitely defeat the purpose of a keeper. At the same time, you cannot fairly contract teams though.

the only realistic way to do that would be to take TBMs top ten players and have a two round draft where we all got to take two players.
Same draft order as regular draft...snake
Effectively given us all 7 keepers

i was going to suggest adding 1 keeper. that is literally the only way we could do it
5 keepers x 2 = 10 so it fits the team #s
i guess we do the opposite draft order of the allotment of the draft, so i get last keeper pick
