Just hit #44. Now in #1 by himself in each catergory with 2 days left in the regualr season 
This isn't getting nearly enough attention

Pulled out of tonight's game after going 2-3 with 2 RBI
Currently at .331 44 HR 139 RBI
.006 AVG lead over Trout
1 HR lead over Hamilton
12 RBI lead over Hamilton
Interesting move by Leyland to pull him. May help for AVG, but Hamilton could easily hit 2 more HRs. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Is what he did in the four months in between enough to win an MVP?

I think he can do it. The only category I am concerned with is HRs, just in case Hamilton does something crazy. Don't know his status on playing though.
