apologies. I will stick by my original statement. The suspension will be reduced and Payton will be back this season. Goodell made his point and our season is a wash. Let's just get our damn coach back and develop some young talent.

you know, i was watching NFL gameday on ESPN sunday morning, and i really found it strange that ZERO of the analysts had anything negative to say about RG and the issues troubling the league right now (bountygate, the lockout, the referees, etc)
they were all praising him and a how he was doing such a wonderful job, etc.. i just found it strange because usually at least one person takes the opposite side of an issue, just for television's sake... i just thought it was strange

More leaks starting to surface all suggesting a a reduction in Payton's suspension.
If/when I talk to my buddy, I will see if he has any more insight.
