i'm glad hoffenheim has played well the last few games. they started off very porous in the back. at the beginning of the year i thought they'd challenge for the 4-8 range, they made some good offseason moves. looks like the squad might be starting to gel

Bundesliga Fanatic named Fabian in their team of the week for week 5. Here's what it said
quote: Fabian Johnson – Since settling in at left back last year, the German born American international has gotten better and better. Following a sluggish start for the club this year, Johnson and his team are finally rounding into form. Johnson scored a fine goal in their win against Hannover over the weekend and another in Stuttgart. His understanding with Usami on the left and dynamic overlapping runs have played a big part in Hoffenheim’s quick turnaround. At this rate he is quickly establishing himself as one of the most consistent fullbacks in the league.

if jurgy has done anything right so far, it's finding this gem. I think Germany will be wishing they would've shown him more attention. their left back's arent really left backs. with two full backs like johnson and lahm they would be prime candidates to run a 3-5-2 or something similar.
