Wife showed me a clip last night that was somewhat of a teaser. It showed Nolan in a boxing ring. Emily interrupts his training to talk to him. Nolan mentions that he's taken up boxing, karate, etc. b/c of fear of the white haired man, and mentions that Emily has been gone and out of contact with him for 8 weeks. She says something about a change in plans and then the clip ends lol.
My bad on the 8 weeks vs. months slip. Doing too many things at once I guess

okay just caught up
I think the long arc, is that Revenge is not Amanda/Emily. I think the creator of the revenge is Nolan.
Nolan's supposed mix into the whole thing is that her Dad gave him some money a long time ago to start a company. That's pretty much it. Seems pretty insignificant considering he has the chest full of notes, info that he never goes to the police with, and we never really see the Dad and Nolan engaged in the planning of getting the info to his daughter or this supposed promise.
I think the back story arc is Nolan getting back at the people who snubbed him and using Amanda to facilitate his plan/ or getting back at Amanda's Dad for stealing Nolan's girl(who became Amanda's mom)
1. He set up the Japanese guy(who he claims approached him) to mentor Amanda.(how would she find someone accross the world? and in that scene we saw that Jap dude and Nolan knew each other)
2. he was following her around(at bar when she was tossed)
3. he hired the bartender to pose as Jack's girlfriend, who then kissed Nolan to end the relationship once she got Amanda the gig at the party.
I could go on, but now I'm hitting spoilers, I'm convinced that the master mind is Nolan.

to me it would explain how a destructive teen was manipulated into a warpath of revenge.
she was bar hopping, and Nolan basically coerced her into researching her past. I think it will come out that the Dad had a shady past as well as all the other of the crew, and Nolan is getting them all in his revenge.

using tyler all part of the plan to divert suspicion. He's just a rich, weak gay boy.
the more incompetent he seems the less people will accuse him of being the master mind....even though he's always there just in the nick of time with all the pertinent information.
