So Gerrard needs to (allegedly) racially abuse another Englishman, get himself stripped of the captaincy causing Roy to be fired, then get found not guilty, then rejoin the England team, then retire. That shouldn't be difficult.

Not Rooney plz. I'd like to see at least one major tournament with he, Welbeck, The Ox, Wilshere, Sterling, Cleverly, et al in the England squad.

That's a loaded squad that will certainly run through group stage and early knockout rounds, only to drop a semifinal in penalties.
