d1 and i made a deal....i will get her less than year old 4s and she gets the 5 for her birthday (since she works for apple, she'll put the latest software on it....)
i use my ipad for most websurfing on the road so i don't see a big difference in my particular circumstance...

This phone is so badass. It's pretty much the same as the 4s but WAY faster, lighter, has a bigger screen, and the Internet works at lighting speed!!!

I'm with Verizon and I have free personal hotspot as do most plans so I don't need MyWi. Are you sure you don't have free hotspot included in your plan?

I'm disappointed so far. Once all of the apps are updated to fit the screen I think I'll be a bit happier.

2 years ago I bought the Motorola Atrix (running 2.2 Android) and my wife got the Iphone 4. I can honestly say the Atrix was buggy and I thought the Iphone had a much more stable OS. Since then I have bought the GSM Galaxy Nexus with 4.1 Jelly Bean and I will continue to buy the Nexus phones from Google for the conceivable future. Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean are enormous upgrades to the stability of Android. I think if Iphone users used the new Android OS, they would be very tempted to dump the iphone and go to a new Android like the S3 or Nexus.

I'm a huge Android fan. I had the Captivate, Dell Streak, SII, SII Skyrocket and HTC One X. Absolutely love the platform. My brother has the HTC One X and my other brother has the SIII. I love helping them with their phones.
Honestly, and this may sound silly, I came back to the iPhone because of 1 reason: iCal. It just syncs so smoothly between my MacBook, iPad and iPhone. I use the shite out my calendar, and just never found anything on Android that came close to iCal.

I have never tried ical (maybe my wife has), but we use Google Calendars for everything and it syncs across all of our internet devices.

Guess that's logical because of the aspect ratio

Cool. That thing looks pretty wicked. I don't have any experience with the windows phones but wizziko (pretty bright guy) says that they're actually really awesome.
