After reading this article.... sure enough mine has a small scuff on the left side about smack dab in the middle of the bezel. I probably would have never noticed it otherwise but just found it odd. Also supposedly more prevalent on black model.

Those aren't the pics of mine. Copied from other sites from buyers today. And low and behold mine has a scuff just like the 2nd pic. I could care less as long as it wasn't on the screen, but still shady

I know. I was talking about the fact that the scuffs and scratches are in different spots on each phone seems odd because the manufacturing process is so repetitive. Only thing that makes sense in my mind is a massive frick up on one of the lines that sent phones flying or something.

I would bring mine back, but you might be screwed since the phone left the store. I guess everybody that gets one after today needs to open the sealed box at an apple store.
