Look, imputing any sort of behavior to outdoorsman outside of the tendency to hunt and fish is retarded. You can't just say about a wide group of people who have a common hobby "oh they would never do something like this." Everyone ticks differently.
ETA: this guy could have easily been disgruntled with his job or something or just plain drunk

Stalked his Facebook, he has only 1 friend who is white and she is married to a black dude. I'm guessing he is targeting LSU because he doesn't like white people.

I read that the maximum penalty is 20 years. I really think he should get the max. He caused LSU to cancel football practice, he delayed the monday press conference, he caused LSU to shut down and cancel classes to evacuate.
Just on the inconvenience he caused as well as the resources that were spent on investigating it, he should do 20 years, hard labor preferably to work off the money he made LEOs spend.
Also, don't let him have conjugal visits, because people as stupid as he is shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
