An LSU Police Department spokesperson says the suspect, William Bouvay, 42, of Baton Rouge, has been charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing. Police say Bouvay is not an LSU student.
Bouvay is being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
More details will be released when they become available.

An LSU Police Department spokesperson says the suspect, an unidentified male, has been charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing. While police have not yet identified the suspect, they say he is not an LSU student.

In the middle east, typically they pull multiple "fake runs" before actually going ahead with a bomb, suciide bomber, etc...
This is to gauge the reaction of how the people react. If you evacuate left, they get everyone concentrated, and then attack that location.
Just be mindful, this may have been a dry run to gauge where an effective target for maximum damage is at.....and based on the threads, CEBA parking lot.
