Yea, even with a horrible passing offense the past 4 years...we still send WRs to the NFL. And the bad passing game looks like it's about to end.

He may stick at WR but I'm not betting on it. Not at LSU. Moffit will have him 245-250 in a year and that's not a wr at LSU. What he's recruited as and what he plays are sometimes entirely different things. He's only being recruited at WR, by anyone, because he's so adamant about it. Recruit him as a TE and he will turn you off. We'll se how it works out. As long as he's a Tiger, I don't care what position he plays.

If we can play him at WR, Miles tells Moffitt to make him lean and hard, not bulk him up. It can be done.

you realize that not EVERY player trained by Moffit is going to put on 15 lbs. of pure muscle, right? you do also realize that not every player does the staff WANT to gain weight, right? i get he's a big guy, who will benefit from Moffit's training, but just looking at his weight and saying he doesn't fit the prototypical WR mold due to that weight is pretty silly.... by your assumption, Calvin Johnson, Marques Colston, etc. would be TE's right now.... anyway, like i said, i'd bet my fricking house, where ever he lands he's never going to play anything outside of WR.... that's what he is, that's what he's going to play, and that's what he's going to make money doing one day.... kid is a talent, and let's hope there's room for him here....

What idiot takes the #1WR recruit in the country and converts him to TE? Oh wait this is the Rant... Ever hear of Calvin Johnson. I wonder why nobody pushed him to TE?

Is he still trying to play basketball as well? I think he may get to 230 in college but that's it. Reuben Randle was 195 in high school and finished at LSU around 208. Moffitt knows the skill guys need to be lean, he doesn't need anyone's advice on how to do his job. He will never be a TE no matter where he goes

Doucet and Randle were best WR prospects despite not being WRs. And Tolliver was considered Top 1 or 2. LSU is not a place to go show your WR skills. He runs it 50 times against Idaho.

Who wants to see your WR skills against Idaho??? That's an asinine stat to try and prove an even more asinine thought.

You are right. I bet Dwayne Bowe regrets going to LSU.

Compared to A&M: Reggie McNeal - (6th)2006 Terrence Murphy - (2nd)2005 Jamaar Taylor - (6th) 2004 How far back do I need to go?? LSU has done just fine getting WR to the next level

I just listed the WR draft picks since Miles has been the HC. If you go back to 2004, Michael Clayton and Devery Henderson were picked in the 1st and 2nd rounds respectively.
