im bout to send out a league wide e-mail regarding punishments for inactivity. i might just go with deduction of points. first violation -20 and increasing for further violations. i thought of if a trade is proposed and not responded to in 2 or 3 days without a legit excuse i'll push it through but i think that may be abused by people constantly proposing trades hoping someone wont respond in time. i may still do this but just carefully monitor uneven trade values.

Well, I don't have any other excuse for missing the trade offer other than being extremely busy. I didn't intentionally miss it and didn't notice it until yesterday morning. That's my bad.

when a trade is proposed to you an e-mail should be sent so just take a couple of seconds to check your e-mail and you'll be fine. either that or i will trade rape you while you are not paying attention

Definitely. I need to continue to regularly check that account. I didn't realize it until Sunday that I had the offer before it was removed. I check work email all the time. I need to be checking both more than I do.

I don't think we can do any sort of point deduction as that would take away from the overall outcome of the league. It would also benefit some owners and not others (those who have a matchup that week). you are also right that people may abuse the system by offering lopsided trades in hopes it doesn't get responded. We do need to think of something though, I'm just not sure what. Maybe, if you don't respond to a trade b/c of inactivity, your team will be locked for that weekend's games- so you better hope you have the correct starting lineup.
