Forgive me if this has been addressed recently but I am just a casual NBA fan. Obviously at this point it won't be done this year, but has the change idea been totally shelved? I haven't heard anything about it in months.

Why do you continually call out people who are not season ticket holders (mainly because they dont live in New Orleans)? It's not like they don't support the Hornets. Yeah, revenue generated by ticket sales is roughly $15 - $20 million while revenue generated by the TV contract is roughly $10 - $12 million. People that watch the games on TV contribute too much to the bottom line to be treated as if they aren't really true fans. It's not easy watching Ceelo beatbox for the 1000th time. All this True Fan bull shite is nothing more than people with low self esteem blowing themselves.
Regarding the OP, no one knows anything other than Benson really wants to change the name, has allegedly registered Angels and Spirit, and was rumored to have tried to buy back the Voodoo name.

Does that include the food,beverage, and fan apparel bought by people attending the games?
