when your best player is injured and half of your roster is d-leaguers yes. nba playoffs much different from nfl playoffs. a team can get hot at the end of the year and make a run. in nba you aint gonna win multiple game series with momentum you need elite talent. also when you have drew brees at qb you never out of it until the numbers say so

is there fault in my logic though? mediocre .500 teams have got hot and won superbowls. teams cant do that in nba you not gonna win multiple series just based on momentum it will catch up with you eventually in one round and a more talented team will throttle you. the hornets in no way were gonna win a title last year anyone who thinks so is foolish. the saints could get their shite together and make a run at the title towards the end. thus dont tank until eliminated from playoff contention
